Iron Maiden Announce Run For Your Lives North American Tour 2027
The metal legends return to North America in 2027 with a stadium run. Tickets on sale now via the official box office.
Iron Maiden announced the Run For Your Lives North American tour for 2027, a 25-city stadium and amphitheater run celebrating five decades of the band. Bruce Dickinson confirmed the tour will lean heavily on the 80s catalog that built the empire, and the routing — which opens in the Northeast in September and runs through the West Coast and Texas before closing in Florida in October — is the band's largest North American footprint since the Somewhere Back in Time run of 2008. The announcement ends a multi-year wait for stateside fans, who have watched the band tour Europe and Latin America through 2025 and 2026 while the North American dates stayed quiet.
The tour is the band's fiftieth-anniversary celebration, which technically began with the 2025 European leg that wrapped at London's O2 Arena in June. The North American run is being billed as the final leg of the anniversary, and the band has confirmed the setlist will be a career retrospective that leans all the way into the Paul Di'Anno and early Blaze Bayley eras that the European dates resurrected — 'Murders in the Rue Morgue,' 'Phantom of the Opera,' 'The Clairvoyant,' and 'Infinite Dreams' all appear in the working setlist. The run from 'Hallowed Be Thy Name' through 'Fear of the Dark' through 'Iron Maiden' is still, after all these years, the single most overpowering stretch in heavy metal live, and the band has confirmed it will close every North American night with that block.
Eddie will of course be making appearances, as will what's rumored to be the band's largest stage production yet — a three-tier set built around a walking-tank Eddie that walks the full width of the stadium stage during 'The Trooper,' with pyro and a prop sword-fight between Dickinson and the mascot. The band has been steadily escalating the production values across the anniversary run, and the North American leg is the first to be built around the full stadium rig rather than the shed configuration the European dates used. Dickinson, who fenced for the European dates at 66, has confirmed he will do the full sprint across the stage for the entire three-hour set on this run, and his voice on the 2025 European leg suggested he has lost nothing to the years.
Tickets are live at the official box office below — expect the first nights to sell through in minutes. The 2008 Somewhere Back in Time dates sold out MetLife and the Forum inside an hour; the 2027 routing is being built to the same scale, with single-night stadium shows in the largest markets and two-night amphitheater runs in the mid-sized ones. The band has added second nights in three markets based on the early presale demand, and a final wave of dates — rumored to include a Mexico City and a Canadian Western swing — is expected to be confirmed before the end of the year.
The tour is also a chance to hear Nicko McBrain, who suffered a stroke in 2023 and played the European leg one-handed, in what may be his last full stadium run. The band has made no secret that the anniversary cycle is a victory lap for the long-tenured lineup — Steve Harris, Dave Murray, Adrian Smith, Janick Gers, and McBrain have been together since 1990 — and the 2027 dates are being treated by the fanbase as the last chance to see the band as it has existed for 35 years. Get to the box office, and get there early.
