Rock Magazine is the premier news, events, review, and community source for the rock community. We cover hard rock, heavy metal, punk, blues, blues-rock, classic rock, progressive rock, stoner rock, reggae rock, and every subgenre in between — and only those subgenres. No pop. No EDM. No politics. Rock only.
We were established in 1969 and revived in 2026 with a single goal: outdo the legacy rock press by giving true rock fans what they actually want — real news, real reviews, real culture, and a real community that keeps the music loud.
Our editorial covers breaking news, in-depth interviews, album and gear reviews, show reviews, venue guides, and culture — from tattoos and kustom kulture to vinyl, skate, surf, horror, and wrestling. The Rock Lounge is our community forum, and our Rock Classifieds connect musicians starting bands, selling used gear, and finding producers.
